“I feel confident stating that Strike 3 raised the bar once again in 2011. Our fourth installment of the First Pitch Celebrity Gala was a success by all measures: increased attendance, revenue and positive feedback” stated Craig Breslow, Founder and Executive Director of the Strike 3 Foundation. “We will continue to work to expedite the arrival of the day when cancer is eradicated. Thank you to everyone involved in making this night so successful. Congratulations to Casey Ridgway, the recipient of our 2011 Isaias Valentin Courage Award, she is truly an inspiration.”
Chief Operator Joe Lizza noted “This year’s event ran smoother despite a larger crowd and more complex program thanks to the increased volunteer staff, the approachable and accommodating celebrities, and the generosity of the 500 people that came out tonight. Despite a celebratory night, the meaning and purpose of this organization is clear, to strike out cancer.”
The Strike 3 Foundation would like to thank presenting sponsor Diamond Elite Merchant Solutions as well as custom sponsors Sony Playstation, E*Trade, Manfredi Jewels, David Yurman, and Moffly Media and all who donated items and attended the event.
