Wiffle® Ball Tournament

Hundreds came out to Little Fenway in Essex, VT on Saturday, October 7 for the 3rd Annual Strike 3 Foundation Wiffle Ball Tournament, sponsored by Union Mutual. The day drew participants as well as onlookers, who gathered to support the organization that mobilizes support, heightens awareness, and raises funding for pediatric cancer research and treatment. Nearly $50,000 was raised in the fight against this devastating disease.

14 Teams participated in competition, spanning two divisions. In the Majors Division, the Rhody Rams defeated the Bantams by a score of 12-5. In the Minors Division, Industriales 2017 held off Breslow's Bullpen 8-3. Mark Grasso was the Entwistle & Cappucci Home Run Derby Champion, taking a home an Autographed Dustin Pedroia Framed Jersey for his efforts.
