Wiffle® Ball Tournament

Craig Breslow and the Strike 3 Foundation hosted a day of WIFFLE® Ball competitions on October 5, 2019. The tournament, sponsored by Rowing Blazers, was our most successful tournament to date with a grand fundraising total of $52,000 to help find a cure for pediatric cancer. A $50,000 goal was established in the hopes of fully funding a Strike 3 Foundation/Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award grant. Exceeding the goal is something that each and every one of our supporters can take tremendous pride in!

This year's tournament featured great Vermont fall weather, a healthy amount of onlookers and fans, smiling faces, and friendly competition. Fourteen teams participated and enjoyed playing games on Little Fenway, Little Wrigley, and Little Field of Dreams. The Strike Zone defeated the Trinity Bantams in the Majors Division, and the Dominican Squad was victorious over Union Mutual in the Minors Division. Brian Grasso was the Entwistle & Cappucci Home Run Derby Champion and took home an autographed Brock Holt baseball bat. His brother, Michael, was the runner up and won an autographed Rafael Devers baseball.
